Problem Solving for Better Health – Nursing™ (PSBHN™) The Problem Solving for Better Health – Nursing program, mobilizes nurses to realize their problem-solving potential so that they can lead individuals, families, and communities to better address healthcare issues. Nurses comprise an extremely large but often underutilized and underappreciated workforce within the healthcare field. As such, and because of their extensive direct patient contact, they can impact health tremendously. The Dreyfus Health Foundation launched the PSBHN program in collaboration with international nursing leader Dame Sheila Quinn (UK). DHF is privileged to work with Dame Sheila, as well as Shelagh Murphy, and Joyce J. Fitzpatrick, who have extensive expertise in the international nursing arena and have significantly contributed to the shaping of the program. The first PSBHN workshop took place in 2002 at the Peking Union Medical College School of Nursing in Beijing, China. Workshop participants include nurses of all levels who have a desire to make a difference in nursing. More Information: |
